    Autumn Beaches is a skinny scarf designed by Agrarian Artisan Designs and made simply with a length of lacy motifs. The scarf is made on a 4mm hook using a two colours of our exclusive Mobberley DK (70% Exmoor Blueface/30% British Alpaca) in a variegated purple and green.
    Finished size approximately.170 cm (67") long by 12cm (4.75") wide.

    Kit includes yarn, pattern and a handy locking stitch marker.

  • Mobberley DK: "Emperor" (Emperor)
    "Mobberley" is a custom blend of 70% Exmoor Blueface and 30% British Alpaca and is 100% British, having been spun in Devon. The Exmoor Blueface is a cross between the Exmoor Horn, known for its durable qualities and Blue Face Leicester, known for its lustre. The Alpaca adds softness and a halo and overall this is a gorgeously squishy yarn that takes colour well.

    Emperor has been acid dyed in tonal shades of purple. Hand wash recommended.

    Nether Alderley is a high twist 4 ply yarn, made from 100% Superwash British Blue Faced Leicester.

    The high twist gives super stitch definition, making this yarn great for lacework details. It also makes the yarn more hardwearing than a standard smooth 4ply.

    "Capesthorne" is a blend of 96% Falkland Merino and 4% dyeable lurex. and is spun in Yorkshire. The dyeable lurex adds a subtle sparkle that compliments the dye.

    This base is one of the finest and softest English speciality breed lambs wools, at 28-29 microns. Perfect for hand spinning.

  • Grey Suffolk "Plum Landscape" 150g (Plum Landscape)
    The Suffolk sheep is a UK breed and is classified as short-wool and down. Its dense fleece is suited to knitwear and any other application where a good bulk is required. 35-40 Microns, average length of 75-80mm. Perfect for hand spinning and hand felting. This combed top is a natural grey-brown colour.

    Plum Landscape is dyed in areas of rich purple and magenta tones, leaving areas of the top undyed to show the natural colours. 

    Cool handwash recommended.

    Shetland wool is fine, soft and silky to the touch, averaging 29-31 microns, with a good bulky down characteristic. It has n average staple length of 90 mm.

    Fuchsia Bud has been dyed in shades of violet and scarlet, with some paler areas visible.
